Street By Street Donations

A collective campaign by an alliance of food aid providers in West Northants for donations of food and other essentials for people in need

We work together to help those who can't afford the basics in life because of low income, ill-health and other issues.

This year we are asking YOU, the public of West Northamptonshire, to help others by organising a collection in your street or immediate neighbourhood, or even a specific community or group of which you are a part.

The campaign asks you to organise a collection amongst your neighbours or friends and to take them to a local food aid provider within the alliance who will pass them on to people in need. If one organisation gets more than they need, they will share the donations with another alliance member.

This campaign pack will help you manage a local collection with campaign posters and appeals.

You can donate to any of the providers in the alliance, depending on your interests or where you live. There are nearly 40 organisations who supply food through the alliance. To help you decide which group to donate your collection to, check out this directory of groups who can accept donations and approach the one that you want to donate to for times and location.
