The Countryside Kitchen

The Countryside Kitchen classroom is a hands-on, farm-based learning space where people of all ages can explore the journey from field to fork through immersive "Grow, Cook, Eat, discover" workshops, nurturing a deeper understanding of sustainable agriculture, healthy eating, and rural life.

The Countryside Kitchen classroom represents an exciting new chapter in hands-on, immersive learning, set in the heart of a working farm. Opening in July 2025, this inspiring space will bring the countryside to life for children and adults alike. Guided by the theme “Grow, Cook, Eat, Discover” the classroom will serve as a hub for field-to-fork education, offering visitors the chance to connect with where their food comes from and gain a deeper appreciation for sustainable agriculture.

Situated amidst the daily bustle of a working farm, the classroom provides a unique opportunity to learn about agriculture from those who live and breathe it. Visitors will take part in workshops that blend practical farming knowledge with hands-on experiences, from planting seeds in the garden to harvesting fresh produce and transforming it into delicious, home-cooked meals. Our mission is to reconnect people with the origins of their food, teaching skills and values that promote healthy eating, environmental stewardship, and food security.
